The Minister of Petroleum and Energy today approved the Plan for Development and Operations for the Fenja field.
The approval was announced during the Minister's speech at the Energy Change conference (previously Norskehavskonferansen) in Stjørdal.
Minister Terje Søviknes underlined that Fenja is a good example of the benefits of continued high exploration activity on the Norwegian continental shelf.
"The field was discovered in 2014 and the partnership has already succeeded in presenting a profitable project. This will help to maintain the level of activity in the industry, create employment and ripple effects for the society."
